About Us – What Is Brecon Boot Camp?
Brecon Boot Camp has a range of mixed, men only and women only health and fitness boot camps, training days and advisory services to meet a range of age, starting fitness and physical ability levels.
Our Approach
Brecon Boot Camp employs an holistic, client-centred approach which provides educational workshops in addition to physical exercise in order to provide participants with a tool-kit for long term, sustainable, healthy lifestyles.
Who We Train
We provide training to private customers, businesses and for exercise referrals from the general population. We also offer niche training camps for boxers, martial artists and other combat sports.
Our Staff
Brecon Boot Camp instructional staff are qualified, experienced professionals holding health and fitness industry recognised qualifications. Our own trainers are all former or still-serving British military physical training instructors and members of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). All our instructors maintain currency and competency on an annual basis through the REPs Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Scheme. Our own staff are supported by a number of high profile guest coaches on the Fit-To-Fight programmes.
Our Courses
All our course programmes are designed in accordance with Systems Approach to Training, Fitness Industry Standards as laid down by REPs and in consultation with industry professionals.
All the Boot Camps* will include goal setting, nutritional workshops, practical solutions for sustainable change, personal MOT check and personalised fitness plans to take away, giving the client a personal tool-kit to sustain health and fitness goals back in the real world.
On-course educational workshops and physical training are supported by an on-line members facility providing follow-on training plans and lifestyle guidance.
* The only exception is Brecon Beast due to time constraints and the nature of the course.
Our Nutrition
The meal plans for our courses are scientifically tested under laboratory conditions for their nutritional content in order to ensure nutrient and calorific content support the level of physical activity for each course.
This supports the development of lean body mass and ensures that your body recovers sufficiently from each training session, whilst encouraging weight loss through safe and effective metabolism of unwanted body fat.
Our nutritional workshops are designed to provide you with evidence-based knowledge and understanding of how good nutrition can support your health and fitness goals. The workshops will enable you to make informed and positive choices about your diet so you can continue working towards your performance and weight loss goals back at home.
