Designed for women who have been working out for a while and want a new challenge, or those with previous experience of exercise who want to jump back in at the deep end. This is the boot-camp for you if you want to:
- Liven up your current routines and set yourself fresh challenges.
- Test your limits and try new activities.
- Learn different training methods to improve fitness, achieve weight loss and boost performance.
- Learn how good nutrition can support your health and fitness goals.
Learn how to:
- Set goals that are both challenging and achievable.
- Identify and overcome barriers that can prevent you achieving your goals.
- Calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) and other measures of your own fitness and understand what they mean for you.
- Use training aids such as heart rate monitors to optimise your workouts.
- Discover different training methods, including fat burning, muscle building and recovery.
- Support your training with performance-enhancing nutrition including how different nutrients work, how much you need, how to achieve your ideal intake and how to promote rapid recovery after exercise.
- Develop a personalised fitness plan that carries on working for you back in the real world.
Activities
Multi-activity camps with an emphasis on medium to high intensity activities interspersed with lower intensity, light or fun periods to aid rest and recovery. Activities depend on duration of camp, time of year and are weather- dependent but will include a combination from the list below:

Difficulty Level
This Boot Camp is graded Challenging.
For individuals who have been working out for a while and want a new challenge, or those with previous experience of exercise who want to jump back in at the deep end.
- Full, multi-activity days in the outdoors.
- Combined physical activity length lasting approximately 6 hours a day, some longer or harder days may be involved.
- Activities range from moderate to high intensity.
- Periods of intense activity are interspersed with lighter activities, rest or recovery. Anyone in good health and fit enough to complete a long weekend walk or regular sporting activity will manage.
- Designed to challenge your current expectations and push your boundaries.
- Emphasis on improving current fitness levels, increasing your understanding of different training methods and learning how good nutrition can support your performance goals.
Some experience of working out is recommended at this level.
